8 Reasons Why I Believe in the Surety of the Resurrection

When the high priest and the Roman government colluded together to prevent an outbreak of Faith in Jesus's resurrection: they rolled a stone in front of the grave with an official Roman seal and these words were actually uttered in the first century, "Go your way, make it as sure as ye can." We know today that they only sealed it to make the proof of the resurrection sure. Here are 8 reasons why I believe in the surety of the resurrection.

1. Angel's Words: (Luke 24:6) He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,

2. Appearance: (Matthew 28:6) He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. (Act 1:3) To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:

3. According to Scripture: (1Co 15:3-4) 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

4. Apostles: Surely they would not have died for what they know to be a lie.

5. Authority: Roman Government (Matthew 27:65) Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can.

6. Applied science: We first must know that he was dead: Jesus was dead and not in a swoon: He would have lost way too much blood to move the stone. When water and blood comes out of his body at the cross then He is dead already.

7. Ample witnesses: (1Corinthians 15:5-8) 5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: 6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. 7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. 8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

8. A bonus: a napkin folded by itself (John 20:7) And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself. IF YOU ARE STEALING THE BODY YOU DON"T FOLD THE NAPKIN.
