Becoming the Gospel: What does that mean?

This blog will be a compilation of writings that will all flow through the filter of becoming the gospel. Becoming the gospel is a precept found in Philippians 1:27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;. A google search and broad definition of the word precept is "a general rule intended to regulate behavior or thought." My intentions for this blog are to help aim my own behavior and thinking through the filter of the Philippians 1:27 and to publish my findings so that others may be helped as well.

One primary goal for publishing this blog is so that others will understand how to go to heaven when they die. Understanding the Gospel of Christ is an essential piece of information that informs us how to go to heaven when we die one day. Understanding the Gospel of Christ informs all of life. I hope that I will demonstrate through my blogs that the lens of a Biblical worldview (the gospel) can bring exclusive insights to everyday life and living.
